Dedicated Waste Recycling in Leicester
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover
Businesses have to reduce and recycle their waste more efficiently today because of Government legislation. Bakers Waste Services Limited offer recycling and waste management services that enable companies to reduce costs across the board.
Landfill Costs Rise
Increases in landfill taxes have resulted in rapidly increasing costs for businesses. The Government has introduced a landfill escalator of £8 per year until 2014, and tipping fees will not fall below £80 per tonne for 'active' waste until 2020 at the earliest.
The introduction of the "Pre-Treatment Of Non-Hazardous Waste Prior To Landfill" regulations in 2007 has also severely restricted the amounts and types of waste going for landfill disposal.
Judith Hollingworth, business development manager for Bakers Waste Service Limited, says,
"These regulations will put the onus on the business to segregate and recycle their waste on site. A lot of businesses do not realise that by recycling their waste they will not only see significant savings but may be entitled to a rebate for their material."
Leicestershire Recycling Services
With state of the art segregating and recycling facilities at Glen Parva and Enderby, Bakers Waste Services offer dedicated vehicles which operate within Leicestershire to collect and recycle glass, recycle cardboard, paper, wood, recycle plastics, and other waste materials.
With our recycling services, we can offer an affordable and tailored solution to your waste reduction and recyling needs, whilst also saving you money.
Recycling Audit
To help companies save even more money, Bakers Waste Services offer businesses a free compliance audit where a representative from Bakers Waste will visit the site and advise companies of areas where cost savings can be made by recycling. They will also ensure that the company is fully compliant with all existing and forthcoming legislation.
As Judith Hollingworth, says, "A lot of companies are not aware of current legislation and are disposing of fluorescent tubes and computer screens as general waste and not as hazardous waste. We can offer advice and assist the customer where possible."
Leicester's Largest Independent Waste Management Company
With nearly 4,000 customers, Bakers Waste Services has rapidly grown to become Leicester's largest independent waste management company. Its success is due to providing its customers with excellent and competitive services, allied with continual investment in new plant, processes and vehicles to meet the challenges posed by the need to reduce and recycle waste.
