BAKERS WASTE UP FOR 3 PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS

Bakers Waste are very proud to announce that we have been shortlisted as one of three finalists in categories ‘Contributing to the Local Community' and 'Leicestershire Business of the Year', in the prestigeous Leicestershire Business Awards 2010. In addition to this, Mr Paul Baker (MD), has been shortlisted for the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year' award.

Bakers Waste have worked hard over the years to really make a difference and feel particularly proud that we have been shortlisted in the ‘Contribution to the Local Community' and ‘Business of the Year' awards. The staff are very passionate about the company and this has been the main reason why we are so successful at what we do. We feel these nominations only highlights how we work to make a difference which goes deeper than simply making financial contributions.

ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Certification

We are really focusing on the customer this year so the quality management system will place emphasis on the customer experience of our service. All customers will be able to provide feedback on the services they receive, which will be reviewed by our team; we are confident that the customer feedback option will enable us to work closely with individual customers to improve their experience even more.

BSI ACP logo Bakers Waste are now members of the British Standards Institution's "Associate Consultants Programme" for Environmental Management.

Thermal Engineering Plc ISO 14001

Royston based firm Thermal Engineering Plc, suppliers of specialised components and assemblies to the aerospace industry, have worked with Bakers Waste Services Ltd to successfully complete stage 1 for ISO 14001 certification and hope to gain full certification to the 14001 standard by June 2009.

UPDATE: Thermal Engineering achieved full certification in early 2010. Congratulations to all concerned.
