Aggregate Industries UK Limited are on the way to significantly increasing their waste recycling and reducing their landfill requirements after signing a new waste management partnership with Bakers Waste Services.
Aggregate Industries UK Limited recently signed a new waste management contract with Bakers Waste Services covering their Bardon Aggregates and Charcon sites in Leicestershire.
The first offices to be rolled out were Bardon Aggregates offices, who have now recycled a fantastic 4.51 tonnes of cardboard/ paper and .81 tonnes of plastic. This not only represents a reduced spend on landfill but also a reduction of the company's carbon footprint.
