Kayleigh Pope 10 year anniversary working with Bakers Waste Services Ltd
Through determination, hard work and consistency Kayleigh Pope leads by example at the heart of our internal operations; managing 10 (so far) out of the 17 year Bakers Waste history, there would be no ‘Bakers way’ without long-standing, committed staff members.
Looking back over the last decade, Kayleigh joined the Bakers team after leaving university with a 2:1 in Geography BA initially as an intern to gain one month’s worth of work experience. Things rapidly changed as Kayleigh took a full-time position in the accounts department as a Credit Controller.
Continuing the never-sit-still notion, it wasn’t long before Kayleigh pushed for another position within the operations department. Kayleigh’s move to Operations Assistant (organising, planning and routing skips) collided with Bakers Waste’s acquisition of Glenfield Waste. This isn’t the only change Kayleigh has seen over the years; going from Wharf Way, then Granite Close and most recently Boston Road head offices, staff increasing to over 120 and a fleet of over 60 vehicles.
9th March 2019 saw Kayleigh Pope join Bakers Waste and today she is an integral member of the Bakers team; a fully-fledged Operations Planner, organising contractual work such as wheelie bins, Roll On Roll Offs, FELs and more.
