Bakers Waste Services Ltd are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2019
Pictured are four of Bakers Waste’s buzzing apprentices; working across multiple departments demonstrating a new era for the company following a finance deal with HSBC and BIG plans publicised in the Leicester Mercury.
Going from right to left, we have the newest member of the Bakers Waste team in Charlie Ludbrook. Charlie joins as a Sales Apprentice and spent his first few weeks learning about the businesses services. Charlie is surrounded by a breadth of experience in the sales/ marketing department, working closely with multiple business development managers, sales administrators, marketing executives and more.
Which brings us nicely on, to the left of Charlie we have Jack Walker who joins Bakers Waste as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. Jack works primarily on E-Commerce, social media, search engine optimisation (SEO) and more. Jack works closely on improving and maintaining the businesses online shop.
Next we have Miriam Keenan, another addition to the growing marketing department doing a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship too. Miriam’s role is on the more creative side; graphic design, social media campaigns, copywriting, SEO, video and more. Miriam adds imagination to the marketing plan and brings campaigns to life.
Last but not least, furthest on the left we have Ben Baker who works in the Bakers Waste workshop at our head offices in Leicester. Ben is working through a Mechanic Apprenticeship, learning how to fix and repair an array of vehicles in the Bakers Waste fleet such as HGV/ LGV trucks, pick-up trucks, vans, cars and more. Ben also recently passed his LGV driver’s licence through Leicester based supplier, Driving Talent Ltd and is now a fully qualified truck driver; allowing him to test drive the vehicles after a repair.
